I'm an Adult?
I found myself eating a lunchable today. While I was very happy with my decision, I was hit hard with a reality check, and burst out laughing. The notion I would learn how to take better care of myself when I "was older" never happened. When the hell did I grow up?!
Somehow I just expected myself to fall into healthy habits and stumble upon useful knowledge throughout the years. Safe to say I didn't bump into as much knowledge as I would have hoped. So kids, I'm doing it. I'm "growing up." And by that I mean I'm going to explore things I've always wanted to learn about and that I can immediately start applying to my life to be happier, healthier, and more fulfilled. Now there is a LOT of information out there. But I'm prepared to dig through it, find quality sources, and get to the good stuff. I don't have all the answers (yet), and I think that's what makes this so fun. I'm not the expert, but I'll be learning and sharing everything I find here on my blog. We can do this together. I'll read all the articles from the people that "know what they're doing" and piece it together here, for us non-experts. I'm honestly so excited to begin discovering things that are going to radically improve my life. Knowledge is power am I right?
Topics I want to focus on:
Below are some areas that I want to dive into and what they mean to me, so you can get an idea of what to expect on this exploration.
1. Spiritual Wellness & Practice
Learn how to stay centered and growing, while discovering practices to explore my spirituality to form deeper connections with myself and the world around me.
2. Physical Health
Exercise, nutrition, cooking, you know, that kind of stuff.
3. Holistic Remedies & Techniques
Getting back in touch with the natural world and bringing it's healing and health benefits into my life.
4. General Self Care
For all the unexpected things.
The goal is to explore at least two "adult discoveries" a month, so that hopefully I can experience this so called "adulthood" with more confidence, happiness, and health. Future me thanks me, I'm sure. Feel free to comment any recommendations of things you think I should explore, or that you want to learn about so we can learn together.
